"First and foremost, MassaaStudio makes very nice products. The plates and ramen bowls I purchased are beautiful and distinctive. Good quality slab pottery and an excellent design that fuses contemporary and rustic successfully - exactly what I wanted. Very easy to work with, items packed well, all the attributes you want when dealing with a vendor. That said, study product photos carefully. Glaze is applied in a random hatch pattern with feathering at the edges of the plate - a stronger element than I expected- not as sleek as I wanted, but still very nice. The bowls are glazed differently. Glaze is more solid with no random pattern, and sharp crisp edges at the rim. I guess the concave shape of the inside surface necessitates this. Regardless, plates and bowls don't match exactly. Small details matter to me."
