I started my studio with a desire to create a unique brand that balances creative design, artistic vision and functionality. The name “MASSA” expresses the essence of my work: the interplay between material and object. A while back, coming from a corporate background, I traded suits for aprons - and I enjoy every second of it! I fell in love with the practice of exploring the limits of raw, wild, untouched materials, revealing the charm of the naturally occurring surface, pattern and texture. From vessels to art objects and homeware, all items are carefully sculpture or cast by hand in my studio. While each piece is unique in it's shape and texture, they all speak the same language in colors & design. MASSA is the solid form of my thoughts, experience and soul.
